Add a sense of intrigue to your space with The Visitor – a free-standing artwork by the Belgian artist, Guido Deleu, which is crafted in ceramic and handmade in the studio of Cores da Terra in Brazil.
This whimsical piece evokes a character visiting a museum, head in the air and hands in their pockets in a stance, which is universally recognisable. Each sculpture is crafted in hand moulded clay, using only naturally coloured pigments which may vary due to their density. The Visitor was created by Guido Deleu in 1996, as part of a contest to design a sculpture for the main entrance of a cultural centre in Flanders, Belgium.
